In three years one person has been allowed to destroy the athletic departmant at UCHS. If you are following the coaching hires of late then you know what I mean. Recently we hired a fellow to coach football and it did not take him but weeks to know he wanted no part of this place and he is gone. Our basketball teams are the usal one and done. The best basball coaches in history of school left in one year after learning the ropes of what was expected to keep their jobs. And after track and cross country taking students to the state, those coaches are out the door. The winningest basketball coach in recent time is coaching in another county. Why does Mrs Harrell and Mr Goforth sit by and allow this person to continue to destroy our programs all for the benfit of a few friends and family? At some point the community has to say ENOUGH with people with agendas. This is our kids and their lives they are playing with. They are only kids one time.

Seems much has happened since my post. Edds involved in violations of TSSAA rules/policy on purpose. Seems selfish actions actually caought up with him this time. Just wondering what the "official word" is. Since "Brown" brings down any post with Edds name faster then the dead limbs in my pine tree during the recent wind storm.
We all know Edds was removed as athletic director for the rest of the year, but what about next year? Anyone know? Is this just one of those things we do to look good till everyone forgets and he is back next fall?
Lets all hope this is a new begining for the sposts programs and Mrs Harrell places someone who acts professional in the postion. But it is a shame it took a meltdown for Ms Harrell to realize what was going on right under her nose. Go Patriots!
